Beyond Stories Anthology Review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beyond Stories: Haunting, Human, & Unforgettable

— A Must-Read Anthology for Sci-Fi & Horror Fans

As one of the contributing authors to Beyond Stories, I was honored to share pages with such a diverse, wildly creative group of writers. But even more than that — I was deeply moved by the emotional depth and imagination throughout this anthology.

Several authors in particular stood out to me as truly exceptional:

🥧☕ Alexander Semenyuk – Thought-Provoking & Fearlessly Imaginative

Alexander didn’t just organize this anthology — he infused it with heart and brilliance. His stories, “Do Not Write” and “Eraser,” are haunting explorations of memory, resistance, and the fragile boundary between humanity and technology. Alexander’s writing blends philosophical weight with sci-fi flair, making even short pieces feel expansive and unforgettable. His support of new writers (myself included!) has been nothing short of inspiring.

👻 Kathy Enriquez – Beautifully Haunting and Emotionally Raw

Kathy’s story, “Even in Death,” lingers long after the final line. It’s not just a ghost story — it’s a meditation on trauma, toxic relationships, and the slow erosion of self. The emotional depth she brings to horror is rare and powerful. I had the chance to speak with Kathy outside of the anthology as well, and she’s as thoughtful and kind as her writing is impactful.

🎆Allison Riney – Deeply Symbolic and Brilliantly Constructed

Allison’s piece, “Locks and Mirrors, Horrors and Fears,” is one of the most psychologically rich stories in the collection. It’s a chilling portrayal of internal battles — fear, shame, trauma — given physical form. Her imagery is vivid and unsettling, yet underneath the horror lies a message of hope, resilience, and redemption. I found her story profoundly moving and beautifully crafted.

Check out the clip below about Allison's powerful story. Epic music may be included. lol.

PS: Stay tuned! We are working on Beyond Stories Anthology 2!
